Bryan Walker, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Walker grew up on Long Island, New York and moved to Massachusetts to attend college at Tufts University. During his sophomore year, he was admitted into the Tufts University School of Medicine through acceptance into the Early Assurance Program. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Mathematics.

While in medical school, Dr. Walker was drawn to primary care because he found that joining patients on their journeys toward healthier, happier lifestyles was incredibly rewarding. He went on to complete a three-year residency program in Family Medicine at Maine Medical Center. He received two Resident Teaching Awards for his work with junior residents and medical students. His training has grounded his clinical practice in patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Walker was awarded the Degree of Fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians. The Degree of Fellow recognizes AAFP members who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues, as well as in their communities, by their service to family medicine, by their advancement of health care to the American people, and by their professional development through medical education and research.

Dr. Walker is married to his wife Ali who is also a Family Medicine doctor on the South Shore. During their time outside of medicine, they love traveling, enjoying new restaurants, and spending time with their daughter.
